Union Minister flags of ‘Tiranga Yatra’, to hoist tricolour at Lalchowk in Srinagar | KNO

Union Urban Development Minister CP Singh Friday flagged off “Tiranga Samman Yatra” organised by “Jharkhand Federation of Working Journalists (JFWJ)” from Morhabadi in Ranchi to hoist the tricolour in Srinagar on August 15, media reports said.

Government officials and journalists present on the occasion vowed to hoist the Tricolour on Indian Independence Day at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk in Kashmir, The Pioneer reported.


According to the report, the Yatra will also be flagged off from Amar Jawan Jyoti (India Gate) in New Delhi on August 13 by Home Minister Rajnath Singh, RSS Ideologue Indresh Kumar, Sai Foundation President and Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ) President K Vikram Rao and others.
